At this point, it just seems to me like Damon and Elena are a foregone conclusion and the writers are just creating discord to keep things interesting. Like the upsoming episode 4x19 where everyone goes to prom and a psychopatic Elena decides to mess with Stefan (such a Katherine move).Personally, Klaus & Caroline are my favorite part of the show.I just like their interactions so much that it will feel like something is missing from either shows if they're not together.
I will watch the Originals because Klaus is just too fascinating. The way he goes from a sadistic killer to a misunderstood man in love is just too interesting. I hope Caroline joins him, althought not because she discovers herself madly in love with him all of the sudden. They don't seem ready for a deep relationship: Klaus needs to open up and be more human while Caroline needs to become more mature. She has grown a lot since she became a vampire, but her relationship with Tyler should not be so important. Let me explain... She will graduate from high school soon and she is an immortal being. Getting so wrapped up in a relationship, thinking it's going to last forever, when your not even out of high school can't be healthy. The constant danger and the many deaths surrounding them make the relationship seem more solid and permanent than it is. She has a looong life in front of her but she is so ready to bind herself to him forever that I think it is mostly because she thinks they will probably die soon if they stay in this town. They are basically clinging to each other in a storm. When Klaus swooped in and robbed her of Tyler's strenght, she found herself alone against too many threats she's not ready to face. In a way, I'm glad Klaus made him run because Caroline, while a strong woman, has never really been alone and maybe she can discover that she is even stronger than she thinks.

Motive: First Impression

So I just watched the first episode of the new show Motive and I wanted to talk with you about the probability of it being a success.
First, blond detectives hardly ever work out well on tv. I can't be the only one who noticed that all successful female leads in police shows have brown hair or dye it red! Think Beckett in Castle, Megan Hunt in Body of Proof, Dr. Brennan in Bones... Covert Affairs and Fringe don't count because blond spies are considered more attractive and Fringe is more of the Science Fiction type of series. Cold Case might be an exception but I personnaly never even watched the show so I can't say. Plus isn't that a "Team" type of show where it focuses on the lives of everyone involved in the investigation? Like, the CSIs and Criminal Minds.
Second, I didn't like the way the story is told, with the killer and the victim known from the beginning. I guess that and the many flashbacks kind of ruin the surprise. I thought they found the killer pretty easily. Essentially, all they did was go to a crime scene where they listened to a crying widow and opened a closet. After that they searched for the title the killer called himself in the police databases and found out it was a robbery gone wrong. Somehow they ended up at a party (I don't understand who was the guy they were looking for there) and met a Nervous Guy. They took the prints of a Lying Witness and interrogated his best friend (The Nervous Guy) about his whereabouts. The Lying Witness is framed and, of course, the Female Detective thinks there's something weird about the whole thing. And that's another thing : she says he didn't have any motive but they had already established that the killer was a panicked robber! Then she remembers suddenly that the crazy dog at the scene should have attacked the killer and deduces that the dog knew the killer. Doesn't look like they did much of anything to catch the killer.
Third, a lot of little things bothered me. for exemple:
1) The Partner is doing an interrogation and he is wearing an open shirt that kind of clashes with the pristine white room.
2) The Detective makes the reasonable assumption that the killer is a teenager but it's difficult to understand where she got that from because they don't explain it. Here is what we got from her : The Robber does it for thrill = the thrill he gets from not following the rules = My son is like that! = That's it! It simply must be a teenager then! Here is her thought process: The Robber does it for thrill = the thrill he gets from not following the rules = My son is like that! = Wait. Bored Thrill Seeker. Thwarting Autority. The victim is a teacher. My, my... sounds like our killer is a teenager!
Fourth, what, exactly is her relationship with her Partner? At first I thought they were the regular type of Male-Female partnership you see on tv: friends who trust eachother but still have minor differences of opinion that causes bickering. So the "are you two fighting again?" comment didn't make me think they were more. It's when they talked about getting ribs at the end of the episode that I got confused.
My Final Word on this show is that, unless they clear things up a bit, Motive is not going to make it.
New Girl: Post Kiss... Friendship?

Jess and Nick finally kissed but... what now?
I was suprised that they staged the kiss so early in the series. I guess I'm used to long winded flirtation over several seasons before the actual locking of lips (Bones, FRIENDS, Fringe etc.)In episode 2x16, the awkward reaction to the kiss and the resulting breakup between Jess and Sam answered those questions but, again... what now? I hardly think they're going to jump into a relationship for what was referred to as a mistake.
So how will their "friendship" be affected?

Once Upon a Time: Hooked?

There's a new villain in town on ABC'S Once Upon a Time.
Colin O'Donoghue really rocks the pirate look in the character of charismatic Captain Hook, a man on a quest of revenge against Rumpelstilskin. Of course, with Valentine's Day coming, this is the ideal time to finally discuss the new "ship" he brought to the show.
First things first, all ships must have a name. This one is "Captain Swan"... It's not great in my opinion. I liked SHook much better, you know? Because he "makes her heart tremble". But I was outvoted and Captain Swan it is. sigh. I think Hook has great potential as a love interest even if we haven't seen many Captain Swan moments since the episode where they ever met.
I am one of those who were incredibly shocked when Graham died within the first episodes of the series. Then August arrived and we had another candidate for Emma. But has anyone seen August recently? He reunited with his father and disappeared from the story!
Now we get to season 2 and we're all incredibly anxious to see what other hottie is waiting for her and in enter Hook AND Neal. Of course putting them both in the same episode was a treat to watch but was it the greatest decision to make? How can you appreciate watching Emma and Neal fall in love when every few minutes an incredibly hot guy makes innapropriate comments to her in real time? Plus they presented two bad boys at the same time! A thing a show should never do. One inevitably end up labelled as the "good guy" and loses some of his appeal.
"Ah, so you've heard of me!"
It's funny how smug he sounds about being a known criminal! And doesn't Emma wonder if he ever fed children to crocodiles like in the story? Although he seems to emphatize with the Lost Boys of Neverland.
I don't think Hook will ever become a mortal enemy of Emma, even if she did abandon him up the beanstock. I just wonder how he will react if Neal turns out to be Baelfire, Rumpelstilskin's son. Will he go after Henry's father? He has to be somewhat conflicted about the whole situation. I mean, yes, Gold killed Milah so he's definitely blacklisted but what does he think of his own actions? He took a woman on his ship, and never mind the fact that he was in love with her, he still left a boy with a poor excuse for a father. He essentially made him an orphan. Does he really want history to repeat itself? Does he really want to be as bad as The Dark One? He seems to think of himself as above that kind of behavior so far : he gave Aurora's heart back when he was the one to take it so he obviously regretted that he had to do the same thing that was done to the love of his life.
But the big question is : How far will Hook go to get what he wants?
What do you think of Emma and Hook?
Arrow: Chemistry?
I have an opinion about the whole “Chemistry BS”, as it is being called.
Oliver is the damaged brooding bad boy with a taste for justice who can’t let anyone in and doesn’t smile much. It’s only natural that fans pair him up with the quirky beautiful nerd who crushes on him. Felicity the most likable character on the show! People like her so much they put her with the main character, who, as we’ve seen, could use a little bit of cheering up.
It’s true that two hot actors paired together can make fans a little crazy. You see it on the Once Upon a Time forum all the time but that’s mostly because they keep killing off every hot guy on the show and now the fans are desperate.
Still, I don’t think people are imagining things when they say they just “don’t feel it” between Laurel and Oliver. If the producers intended to make a couple out of them but people still "don't feel it", then I blame bad acting.

Arrow: Is Felicity The New Chloe?
I’m tired of everyone comparing her to Chloe. Yes they were both the designated “nerd” of their repective show but Chloe always struck me as very confident and at ease around Clark. I never felt like Chloe and Clark were a real possibility because the whole crush she had seemed kind of childish and desperate to me.
Felicity and Oliver, however, feel like a real possibility to me because he has let her in more than any other character. Laurel, for all that she’s the one that got away, doesn’t really seem like an option to me because their relationship is too damaged.
Now, I don’t want to get a dozen response insulting me for bashing the chloe/clark idea and endlessly listing the benefits of a Laurel/Oliver relationship. I just wanted to say it because I keep reading it everywhere and I wanted someone (it turned out to be me) to finally refute the comparison to chloe.
